The Harrison County Commissioners Court recently sealed its stance on the proposed water sale of Lake o’ the Pines by approving a resolution opposing the sale or lease of water from the lake to any water district outside the Northeast Texas Municipal Water District (NETMWD).

USDA Provides Texas Farmers Disaster Grant to Offset Losses From Mexico Water Shortages

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins announced $280 million in funding to Texas farmers on Wednesday. The funding will be provided to the Texas Department of Agriculture, which will distribute grants to producers for lost water deliveries in 2023 and 2024.
