Board of Directors

The district is governed locally by an eight member board comprised of four members from Robertson County and four members from Brazos County. The board members are appointed by the respective County Commissioners Courts. House Bill 1784, the districts enabling legislation, dictates the required areas of representation by the board.

Bill Harris

  • Bill Harris serves as a director, representing the city of College Station in Brazos County. His term is from 2019 through 2022.

Linda Pecina

  • Linda Pecina serves as Board Secretary, representing the municipal interests of Robertson County. Her term is from 2019 through 2022.

David Stratta

  • David Stratta serves as a director, representing the agricultural interest of Robertson County. His term is from 2017 through 2020.

Jan A. Roe

  • Jane A. Roe serves as Board President, representing the industrial interests of Robertson County. Her term is from 2017 through 2020.

Jayson Barfknecht

  • Jason Barfknecht serves as a director, representing the city of Bryan in Brazos County. His term is from 2017 through 2020.

Mark J. Carrabba

  • Mark J. Carrabba serves as Board Vice President, representing the agricultural interests of Brazos County. His term is from 2019 through 2022.

Pete Brien

  • Pete Brien serves as a director, representing the rural water supply in Robertson County. His term is from 2019-2022.

Stephen Cast

  • Stephen Cast serves as Board Treasurer, representing the rural water supply in Brazos County. His term is from 2017 through 2020.
