Texas Hill Country dire drought conditions have officials ‘hoping for a hurricane’

After a week of rainy weather blanketed parts of Kendall County, the Cow Creek Groundwater Conservation District says the severe weather brought little change to aquifer levels, another blow in a cycle of disappointment and continued drought hitting the region over the last four to five years.
