Harlingen commission can’t void data center water contract, attorney says
HARLINGEN — The city commission does not have authority to nullify a WaterWorks agreement potentially providing 4.7 million gallons a day of sewer water, while offering potable water as a backup, to a proposed 1,800-acre data center just outside of the city limits, City Attorney Mark Sossi told commissioners.
