Timely rain brings relief but not respite to High Plains wheat producers

OLDHAM COUNTY, Texas (KVII) — The rain the area is receiving couldn’t have come at a better time for wheat producers on the High Plains and South Plains. The weather is serious business for winter wheat farmers who are transitioning from one extreme to another thanks to El Nino.
