The city councils in Abilene, San Angelo and Midland will vote Tuesday on an agreement for a new water source. The interlocal agreement between the three cities would be to buy water from Fort Stockton Holdings, L. P. ,which is owned by the family of the late oil tycoon and gubernatorial candidate Clayton WIlliams. FSH owns a permit that allows it to produce 28,400 acre feet of groundwater annually from theEdwards-Trinity Aquifer in Pecos County.
